Since you normally can’t count on getting anything substantial to eat during a flight, if you find yourself at the Chicago airport and have a couple of hours to kill before your flight arrives or departs, one thing you might want to consider doing is eating. Unlike the flights themselves, there are actually some good dining options at the Chicago airport. While you can find little snack places throughout the Chicago airport, you will find the majority of the actual dining options in the Rotunda area (which is located between Terminals 2 and 3 near Concourse G). In the Rotunda, you can eat at:

Chicago Bar & Grill: If you would like a cold beer with your meal, this is the place to get both of those.

The Great American Bagel: If you are in the airport earlier in the day and are hungry for more than a bag of chips but don’t want to sit down for a full meal, grab a delicious bagel from here and you will get filled up.

Mainstreet Food Fair: In addition snacks, you can also get a quality meal from here.

Peggy Sue’s Diner: Let the friendly staff at Peggy Sue’s Diner fill up your stomach with a wonderful meal before it’s time for you to catch your flight.

Pizza Strada: Chicago is known for its pizza, and the slice of pie you get from Pizza Strada will be just as good as you imagined it being.

Also, if you just need a snack from the Rotunda area, you can grab one of those at Popcorn Express or TCBY.
