At the beginning of last year, I had the opportunity to visit Chicago for the first time. The reason that I got to go is that for my birthday (which is in the middle of January), my girlfriend surprised me with tickets for the two of us to fly to Chicago and stay there for four days. Since I had never been to Chicago, I wasn’t sure what I would think of it, but it turned out that I really enjoyed our trip together. If you have never been to Chicago before, it is an extremely interesting city, and regardless of how long you stay there, I can guarantee that you won’t run out of things to do.
Because I did like Chicago so much, my girlfriend decided to give me the same present for my birthday this year. She was worried that I would think it wasn’t a great present since it was the same as last year, but I quickly reassured her that I was just as excited this time as I was the first time. Since we learned during our last trip that taking taxis everywhere gets quite expensive, my girlfriend also reserved an airport car rental in Chicago for once we arrive in just over two weeks.
