Chicago is a great place to get a great rental car. No matter what the vehicle is for such as personal enjoyment or business reasons, an exotic car is always a great option to take advantage of whenever possible. Exotic cars are very special because they offer a look that is not very common on the streets of Chicago. Having these amazing exotic vehicles available at the airport is also easy to do through the many different vendors of rentals. The best deals are also available through special services online which can be accessed by anyone.

Completely normal people can access exotic rental cars by simply going to comparison pricing websites. If the price range fits their travel budget, they may want to try one of the exotic cars for their trip. This is a great way to feel upscale without the need to actually own the vehicle. A nice vacation in Chicago with an exotic vehicle is not difficult to plan and can bring plenty of enjoyment for the travelers taking advantage of the deal.

Plenty of travelers want to get out of the airports as fast as possible and dread having to wait in line to pick up their expensive exotic car from the Chicago airport. The best way to deal with this is to make use of the newer kiosks available at several of the rental locations in the airport. These kiosks will allow the rental service purchaser to swipe their credit or debit card to pull the information about their rental up. It will print it out onto a voucher which is simply taken to a desk employee to check ID and the process is complete. The keys to the exotic car are provided and the customer can get their car.

Rental Car Companies Which Allow Debit Cards

Filed under: Airport Car Rental Chicago - 09 Mar 2010  | Spread the word !

[Facebook] [Twitter]

The car rental companies which accept debit cards have begun to expand in numbers throughout the country. It can be expected in Chicago that debit cards are accepted in many locations. It is important to remember to check by calling in advance to ensure that this is true when you are making your reservations for the vehicle in person. Those who are wanting a rental from or near the airport may be surprised that they are the least likely to accept the debit cards as a payment source and even less with cash payment options.

Expecting to go through the rental process with a debit card will warrant a credit check. Alongside that, a valid driver’s license or U.S. passport will be required to verify the identity of the person who is renting the vehicle. Some companies may even require a recent utility bill. Those coming from another state will probably need a copy of their return airline ticket or e-ticket itinerary. If they are from within the same state, they may have restrictions on their abilities to rent a vehicle. All who will rent by debit will be subject to have restrictions on what they can rent anyways.

The one way that is easy to use a debit card in Chicago for your rental vehicle reservations is to rent online. Online rentals treat the debit card the same as a credit card if it has a trusted logo such as Visa or MasterCard on it. This is simply because it runs through the same processes for verification and those without money in their debit account to cover their rental will simply be denied. Renting online also helps to prevent the need for a high deposit for the vehicle which can save you money.

Should I Buy Car Rental Insurance?

Filed under: Airport Car Rental Chicago - 16 Feb 2010  | Spread the word !

[Facebook] [Twitter]

Among the most crucial things to be aware of when you reserve your Chicago airport car rental is car rental insurance. You may not know this but, there are numerous factors that will affect your decision to buy additional insurance for your rental vehicle. Let’s suppose you need a rental for business purposes only. Your insurance needs will be significantly different from someone who is renting for a family vacation or other leisurely activity. Let me explain…

In most cases the Chicago airport rental agency will give you the option of choosing between three distinctive kinds of insurance: coverage for physical damage; coverage for liability; and coverage for personal effects. Understanding the difference between these three can make a world of difference in deciding what you need. With physical damage coverage, you’ll be getting insurance that is very comprehensive. It protects you from damage to or loss of the vehicle. When renting for business purposes, this type of insurance if required.

The next type we’ll discuss is liability coverage which is protection from injury or damage to property caused when operating your rental car. In most instances, your personal car insurance will not cover the liability aspect of rental vehicle. And finally consider personal effects coverage. It is a form of protection covering damage or theft that could happen to your personal belongings while in your rental car. It covers items you own or items that belong to the company you work for.

The key is in understanding your personal needs before adding insurance to your Chicago airport car rental. Learn to determine the difference between personal effects, physical damage, and liability coverage. You want the maximum amount of coverage possible in order to reduce your personal liability.

Originally founded in 1890, the garden stretches over 350 acres and is uniquely designed as 9 interconnected islands. Most people choose to walk the garden, as it allows for more time to enjoy one of the 24 formal displays or three natural areas. Charter your way to cheaper travel

Filed under: Airport Car Rental Chicago - 05 Jan 2010  | Spread the word !

[Facebook] [Twitter]

If you are a budget traveler, chartered planes will cross your travel planning trail at some particular point in time.

The standard of charter flights can be both bad and good. During the high season, flying to a popular locations can be extraordinarily dear. That is when charter flights can come to the rescue. I did this exact thing once, booking a round trip ticket to Europe in the summer season. The seat set me back $400, a savings of $350 at the time. A great way for me to afford cheap international flights.

However, the chartered flight had bad and good points. I don’t need to get sued, so I will leave out the name of the company in the following:

Bad Points. I was flying out of L. A. and into Paris on a nameless charter flight. The fun started on arriving at the airfield. The flight left at 2pm in the afternoon, but the ticket window was not open at 12 pm. An hour later, a particularly long line of passengers were beginning to complain about being ripped off since the ticket window still had not opened. Replying to roars asking how we were supposed to all board the airplane in fifteen mins, the ticket agent kindly made us aware the flight had been delayed by 3 hours!

Bad Point Number 2 : Due to the emergency exit, my seat didn’t recline! Frankly, this was more bad luck than anything to do with the charter company. The flight was eleven hours, the majority of which I spent cursing myself for being cheap.

Good Points. There’s one superb point when it comes to flying charter. While the opening booking is inexpensive, most travelers fail to take advantage of the character of a charter flight. Hardly any folk who can afford first-class tickets will take a charter flight. In reality, the 1st class section of the plane might be close to empty. When you check in, make an effort to ask if you can upgrade to first-class for the flight. If this works out, it is mostly extremely inexpensive way to travel first class. On my return flight from Paris to Los Angeles, I upgraded for a gigantic $50 and straight away changed into a travel snob. Excellent!

Charter flights definitely are an inexpensive way to fly. Just bear in mind you get what you pay for.
